Department Organization

We currently staff 54 sworn officers:

41 officers assigned to field patrol.

8 officers assigned to the Department's Emergency Services Unit - made up of NYS certified EMTs, who provide emergency assistance to our community, as well as back up for our field officers.

4 Detectives are assigned to the surveillance unit crime unit; this unit works in plain clothes and are assigned to investigations, as well as pattern crimes usually robberies and auto crime.
